Early in 2009, Gordon began filing updates on Japanese design stars and unsung talents from Japan. His stories have included D&AD Gold Award-winning designer Naoto Fukasawa, and interiors maven Chikara Ohno and a solar-powered truck that is delivering much needed fresh water to some of the driest places in the world.
